Success for Clare College at Culinary Competition

 The Cambridge Culinary Competition

Wednesday 25th October 2017

Clare College’s catering took part in the 2017 Cambridge Culinary Competition and won a large number of awards; including the Stewards’ Cup for the fourth consecutive time. The Stewards’ Cup is awarded to the overall winners of the competition and Clare’s team had the five highest scores.

  • Roger Blows: Finger Foods, Silver
  • Nathan Chapman Crisp: Restaurant Plates Starters, Gold & Best in Class; and Restaurant Plates Main Course, Gold & Best in Class; and Best in Show award for Restaurant Plates Main Course
  • Dariusz Ciechanowski: International Street Food, Silver & Best in Class
  • Byron Franklin: Chocolate Petits Fours, Silver & Best in Class
  • Charlotte Ginn: Open Fish Class, Silver & Best in Class
  • Giuseppe Indelicato: Napkin Folding & Cocktails, Silver
  • Miriam Sanchez: Coffee Shop Cake, Certificate of Merit
  • Ashley Sargent: Chef of the Year, Gold & Best in Class
  • Bonna Serra-Sloan: Coffee Shop Cake, Bronze
  • Andrew Stevenson: Under 23 Poultry Class, Silver & Best in Class
